Training Program in Psychiatry

Certification

The NRTP is a specialized 3- or 4-year program within the general Yale Residency. At completion, all NRTP residents are fully eligible for certification in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Extended training can also be arranged for certification in neurology through comparable four-year or five-year programs.
